Adam Sandler just took a stand for Israel in the most brutally honest way.
The 49-year-old comedic legend made liberals choke when he said he’s “disgusted” by celebrities who refuse to visit Israel.
Although our very own “President” Barack Obama has a failed to adequately support the Jewish state, Adam Sandler wasn’t scared to stand up for Israel in a recent interview with Howard Stern.
Sandler mentioned Stern’s criticism of Pink Floyd lead vocalist, Roger Waters, who attempted to convince musicians to cancel performances in Israel.
“I’m disgusted that they single out Israel that [they say], ‘We can’t play Israel.’ All these f***ing nice Israeli people are getting a ‘f*** you’ from Roger Waters,” Sandler said.
Sandler then praised Stern’s brutal opposition of the British anti-Israel activist.
“I’m very pro-Israel and when someone says sh** about Israel, I know people say sh** about Israel and they f***ing won’t play there … and when you go off on Roger Waters I love that you do that,” Sandler said.
Last month, Stern announced he would not back down from his support of Israel, even though he said that philosophy “isn’t fashionable.”
Stern’s comment was in response to Waters calling him an “a**hole” in a Rolling Stone interview. Prior to Waters’ comment, Stern accused him of anti-Semitism.
“There’s so many countries with histories of abuse and slavery, but he’s very focused on Israel. To me, he comes off like an anti-Semite,” Stern said.
