Aussie Weatherman Gets Attacked By Pelican On Live Television, Now Listen Closely To What He Screams

It was typical day at the zoo, until one man showed up and tried to interview a pelican on live television. This is the most hilarious thing I’ve seen in a very, very long time. You just have to see it to believe it!

When 9 News Australia’s weatherman Steve Jacobs decided to switch things up and broadcast out of the local zoo, there’s no way he could’ve emotionally prepared himself for what the animals had in store.

It was a beautiful day in Sidney and Jacobs was on location reporting live from the sea lions’ tank, when a cranky pelican decided he was done being filmed.

Clearly, the pelican was not a fan of the spotlight, and he was determined to let Jacobs know. The weatherman grew increasingly concerned as the big bird backed him into a corner.

The massive pelican charged at Jacobs and did what any angry bird would do; he went straight for the weatherman’s buttocks.

Thankfully, Jacobs was wearing a thick pair of blue jeans and was a great sport about the unexpected– yet surprisingly hilarious– animal attack.

Within ten seconds, zoo personnel came to Jacobs’ rescue as they bribed the angry bird with a treat. Thankfully, this pelican was willing to exchange his vendetta for some tasty fish.

The weatherman breathed a sigh of relief as the bird walked away and he wrapped up the once-in-a-lifetime interview by saying: “Apparently, their beaks can fit more than their bellies can. Whew, I’ve got to sit down! There’s a bit you’d never expect: having your butt bitten off by a pelican!”

You just can’t help but laugh at this unexpected live TV twist. Watch the hysterical moment in the video below:

They say laughter is the best medicine; share with a friend if this feisty pelican brought a smile to your face today.
