I never thought plastic cups could be used as an art form. But what this man did with 66,000 cups full of water and little food coloring is simply breathtaking. When I saw the finished result, I just couldn’t hold back the tears.
When I read that a team known as BELO Studios had set out to make “the world’s largest artistic (rain)water mosaic,” I didn’t know what to expect. But when the cameras panned out and revealed the full picture, I was left utterly speechless!
The amount of planning that this one-of-a-kind mosaic required must have been exponential.
The team began by filling cups one by one with water and food coloring. Then they organized them in a bizarre pattern.
Before long, thousands of cups filled with differing shades of reds and oranges could be seen across the floor.
What would these 66,000 cups become?! I must admit that I was quite a bit skeptical at first.
Then they dropped a hint… Can you tell what this beautiful mosaic will become?

Wasn’t that just beautiful!? I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. It’s simply breathtaking!
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Psalm 139: 13-17
