We were just discussing why Obama refuses to call ISIS by its proper acronym for the “Islamic State of Iraq and Syria” or simply the “Islamic State” and instead uses the term “ISIL”. Is it ignorance on the part of the White House or is there something more sinister going on?
When I heard the shocking truth behind why Obama says “ISIL” – which stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant — I honestly wanted to vomit, I was so sickened.
In this speech from 2014, Obama was so specific and clear about the point he wanted to make that he literally spelled out I-S-I-L. Watch the horrifying footage here:
Sure, it sounds like just semantics to interchange the terms “ISIL” for “ISIS”, but there’s something more going on than meets our Western eyes. In fact, muslims living in the Middle East know exactly what our President is getting at when he references the state of “Levant”.
Every time Obama says “ISIL” he is speaking of the geographical term “Levant”, which refers to a multi-nation region in the Middle East. It’s a land bridge between Turkey to the north and Egypt to the south. If you look on a map, however, in the near exact middle of the nations that comprise the Levant, guess what you see? It’s none other than Israel.
When Obama says “ISIL” he is saying to the muslim world, “I do not recognize Israel as an independent nation.”
