NASCAR is honoring America’s fallen service members and their families during the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. And wow, this is amazing!
The patriotic salute, is known as the “600 Miles of Remembrance” and will take place this Memorial Day Weekend as a part of “NASCAR: An American Salute.”
Take a look at how amazing this is…
FOX reported that this Memorial Day Weekend, all 43 drivers will feature the name of a fallen United States Armed Forces member on their windshields.
Families of the service members being recognized are expected to be in attendance to honored their loved ones. Charlotte Motor Speedway is also hosting over 6,000 active military members.
Fans can follow stories around the seven-week platform and share their personal expressions of thanks to the military using #NASCARSalutes on social media.
Thank you NASCAR, for recognizing the great sacrifice of our American troops and their families!
I’m so thankful for the brave men and women of America who sacrificed it all for our beloved country– and let’s not forget their families. THANK YOU!
